1.题目的呈现顺序有变化：
先“阅读理解”，后“语言知识运用”（原广东卷则相反）。这种呈现顺序的变化将全卷分成了“第I卷”（客观题）和“第II卷”（主观题），有利于客观题与主观题的题号顺序排列以及考生答题思维的过渡。
2.“阅读理解”部份
（1）全国卷第一节的阅读量和题量比原广东卷少。
（2）第二节（七选五），即短文填句。要求从短文后的七个选项中（均为完整的句子）选出五个能填入文章空白处的最佳选项，主要考查考生对文章的整体内容和结构以及上下文逻辑意义的理解和掌握。
3.“语言知识运用”部份
（1）完形填空的篇章长度为250词左右，但设20空，比原广东卷多了5小题，这意味着增加了设空的密度，题目的难度也更大可能会增加。且折算后的分值为33.75，分值更高。因此对完形填空的训练力度要加大。
（2）第二节的语篇填空与原广东卷的“语法填空”形式相似，十个空中， 10空中有7空是用括号里所给词的适当形式填空，占据绝大的比重，难度比原来降低。语法填空与原广东卷相比更侧重于考查基础语法能力，对基于上下文作出逻辑判断的能力考查相对较少，对于学生的语言基础要求高了。备考时要进一步夯实词法、句法知识，保证得分率。
4.“写作”部分
（1）第一节短文改错重在考查考生对书面语言的理解分析和监察评价的能力。是本次变化的两个新题型之一。短文改错题既考查基础语法知识的运用，也考查了学生的语言意识。所给的篇章虽然简单，但由于设置的考点均为学生写作时常犯的词法、句法和语篇连贯的错误，因而较难以辨认，要通过对常见、常考错误进行归类，给出错误检查清单等方式帮助学生对错误进行快速准确的定位。因此，要强化基本的语法知识，加强对语法功能的学习，加大语言准确性的训练。
（2）第二节书面表达要求考生根据所给情景，用英语写一篇100个单词左右的短文。写作由过去的两篇变成一篇，写作的字数要求也比过去大大降低。题目给出了文字提示，但是提示内容较少基本以大纲形式出现，所以考生需要适当添加细节，是非常典型的半开放作文，而这样的作文模式也预示及标志着新课标卷的方向已经转变，虽然对字数要求远低于过去，但对于文体语言规范、得体性以及内容构思能力的要求并不低。备考时要帮助学生覆盖不同的文体，重点突破应用文和说明文。
5.答题时间
全国卷广东地区比起使用该套卷的其它省份少了听力部分（30分，用时20分钟），但广东地区的考试时间仍然是120分钟，答题时间比过去宽裕很多。

七选五阅读理解题的解题技巧:
根据试题所在位置确定不同的解题策略
1)如果问题在段首
通常是段落主题句。认真阅读后文内容，根据段落一致性原则，查找同义词或其他相关的词，推断出主题句。关注每段首尾句，了解大意知主题 2）如果空格出现在段中
这时要根据空格前后的句子意思、备选选项的句子意思以及句子之间的逻辑关系来确定答案
3)如果问题在段尾
通常是事情的结尾或是总结句。注意在选项中查找表示结果、结论、总结等的信号词，如therefore, as a result, thus, hence, in short, to sum up, to conclude, in a word等词语，选项中也可发现前文的同义词句。

1.七选五应先看备选答案，把其中隐含的代词、冠词、连接词所揭示的内在逻辑关系搞清楚。
2.看文章，在读文章的的过程中不但要确定正确答案，还要同时排除错误答案。
3.题即将做完时，如果有两个答案搞不准，不妨试着把两个答案换一下位置，一旦发现换了之后更通顺，更符合逻辑，那就意味着5分（4乘以1.25)到手了。
4.做完题后，看一眼剩下的两个落选答案，如果清晰地知道它们为什么落选，本题型就得满分了，如果突然感觉到“不好，整错了”，当场改正，也花不了多少时间。
七选五的做题顺序

高考七选五题型一旦出错，往往一错错一串，是容易丢分的题型。
1、语境。放进去通顺，这一点是基础，凡不通顺的必错无疑.
2、重现。 选项中的单词、词组、句子成分或与所选答案在段内容重合。
3．连接词
①注意and,but ,however，otherwise等含义。
②如果答案中有for another，前面不远处会有for one thing。
③如果答案中有other(s)，前面不远处会有some.
④如果答案中有second，前面不远处会有first等等。
需要注意的是for one thing，for another ..., some...other(s)..., first...second...等这些组合既可能出现在同一段落中，也可能分别出现在相邻两段的句首。
阅读理解七选五
4. 大小标题。大标题是对全文的概括总结，大标题每个实词的首字母都大写。小标题是对其下面段落的概括总结；，几个小标题之间长短基本一致，用词的特点相同，且小标题一般都以动词开头，没有主语。
5、选项与其上句或下句之间有必然的逻辑关系
逻辑关系主要是指代词关系、冠词关系。
代词关系方面
① 如果所选答案中有he,him,his等词，这就意味着空前面必然出现了a boy,a man等词或人名。
② 如果这些词在空后面出现，就意味着正确答案中必有a boy ,a man等词或人名。
冠词方面
① 如果正确答案中出现了定冠词the，则空前将有不定冠词a(n)或与之相应的名词等出现。
② 如果定冠词第一次出现在空后，则意味着空里所需的答案中会有不定冠词a(n)或相应的名词等出现。

（2）第二节书面表达要求考生根据所给情景，用英语写一篇100个单词左右的短文。写作由过去的两篇变成一篇，写作的字数要求也比过去大大降低。题目给出了文字提示，但是提示内容较少基本以大纲形式出现，所以考生需要适当添加细节，是非常典型的半开放作文，而这样的作文模式也预示及标志着新课标卷的方向已经转变，虽然对字数要求远低于过去，但对于文体语言规范、得体性以及内容构思能力的要求并不低。备考时要帮助学生覆盖不同的文体，重点突破应用文和说明文。
5.答题时间
全国卷广东地区比起使用该套卷的其它省份少了听力部分（30分，用时20分钟），但广东地区的考试时间仍然是120分钟，答题时间比过去宽裕很多。
