语法要点:
动词不定式
want, plan , hope 和expect都可接动词不定式作宾语。
plan, hope 和expect不可接V-ing作宾语;
want接V-ing作宾语,表“想要被……”
动词不定式
动词不定式的句法作用
1. 作主语。
动词不定式(短语)作主语时, 为了避免句子的头重脚轻, 常用it作形式主语, 而把真正的主语——动词不定式(短语)放在句子的后面。
学好英语很重要。
*To learn English well is very important.
=It’s very important to learn English well.
2. 作表语。
动词不定式(短语)作表语常用于系动词be的后面。
*His work is to feed animals. 他的工作是饲养动物。
3. 作宾语。
动词不定式(短语)可以放在一些动词后面用作宾语;
常接动词不定式作宾语的动词有: begin, start, want,
forget, remember, show, learn, like, hate, love, ask等。
4. 作宾语补足语。
(1)带“to”的不定式作宾语补足语:
tell/ask/want/wouldlike/wish/like/invite/encourage/teach sb. to do sth. 等。
(2)省略“to”的不定式作宾语补足语: 常跟在let, make, see, watch, hear, feel, notice, have等感官动词或使役动词后面作宾语补足语。
(3)可带“to”也可省略“to”的: help sb. (to) do sth. 。
5. 作定语。
动词不定式作定语常用来修饰名词或不定代词, 放于所修饰的词后, 作后置定语。
*The best time to plant trees is spring.
最好的植树时间是春季。

(1) plan用作动词时意为“制订计划、打算”:
plan sth. 意为“计划某事”,后接名词。
e.g. They are planning a trip to Europe.
他们正计划去欧洲旅行。
plan to do sth. 意为“计划去做……”,to是动词不定式,不是介词。
e.g. I plan to go shopping after work.
  我打算下班后去购物。
【注意】plan用作及物动词时, 接名词、代词、动词不定式、动名词或wh-从句作宾语,可用于被动结构; 用作不及物动词时,常与for连用。
(2) plan也可作名词,意为“计划”,可用作不可数名词,也可用作可数名词,在表示“事先安排或打算”时,常用复数形式 ,但不能表示多种安排或很多计划。
e.g. The police worked out a plan to catch the thief.
警察制定出了一个计划捉贼。
e.g. Please make a plan for my study.
请帮我制定一个有关学习的计划。
plan for sth. 意为“关于……的计划”。

(1) expect 用作动词意为“期待,预料,打算”:
e.g. We expect her to arrive at about 11:00.

②expect to do sth. 打算做某事。
e.g. I expected to see Mr. Huang but the weather was terrible.
我本打算去游黄山,无奈天公不作美。
①expect sb. to do sth. 预料某人会做某事。
Language points
(2) news 意为“新闻,情报,报道;泛指消息”,后面可
接 about或者of , 意为“关于……的报道”。
e.g. He was watching the news about the plan crash on TV.
他在看电视上关于飞机失事的报道。
