基数词是用来表示事物的数量的词。英语中,基数词one—twelve为十二个独立的单词,需要逐个记忆;thirteen—nineteen这七个基数词有一定的构词规律,它们都以-teen结尾。

词的数保持一致
当可数名词为单数,其前常用a/an或one,be动词用is。

当可数名词为复数,其前用大于1的基数词,be动词用are。例如:There two pictures on the wall.
