Step Ⅱ: Listening task:Pre-listening Learn the new words to prepare for the listening task.Read the form in detail to help students understand it. To clear the listening obstacles for the listening task. 4
Step Ⅲ: Listening task: while-listening Finish the Blank Filling exercise according to the recording To develop students’ listening skills 3
Step Ⅳ: Post-listening Ask students to check answers . To develop students’ listening skills.
Step V: Speaking skills practice I Summarize the speaking rules of using stress.Listen to the recording of A1.Introduce Extra stress to the students and teach them the rule.Listen to the recording of A2 and find out the words which need Extra stress. To let students recall the rules of using stress while speaking.To know which words need Extra stress and master the rule.
Step VI: Speaking skills practice II Guide the students to read the mind map.Give students some time to make an order of monitor by given information orally.Provide them with answer. To practise their speaking ability.
Step VII: Oral-task: Show them a short video about Frank’s ideas on using computersAsk students to finish the questionnaire about their using computers.Guide the students to fill in the venn diagram.
