教学重点： 1. Key vocabulary: peace, sea, build, sky ... fewer trees, world peace, see blue skies, spend time together... 2. Key sentences: a. I hope so. b. There will be fewer trees. c. There will be more pollution. d.There will be less free time. e. In 100 years, there will be more cars because there will be more people in the cities.
教学难点： Learn the simple future tense to predict the future.

Step 1 Presentation (PPT 3-4) 1. Show the Grammar Focus and work on Grammar Focus. 2. Ask Ss to read the sentences in this part and pay attention to the simple future tense. 3. Show Ss the abbreviated forms. 引导学生观察并读Grammar Focus 的句子，关注there will be、more, fewer, less的用法。
Step 2 Practice (PPT 5-10) Work on 3a. Ask Ss to read the sentences and fill in the blanks with more, less or fewer.Call some Ss to read their answers, then check answers in class. Work on 3b. Read the instructions to the class, and then make Ss look through the contents before the blank lines. Make Ss discuss the four statements in groups. Then complete the predictions with what they think will happen. Write down the results on the lines. Pay attention to the Adverbial of Time. Choose 2 or 3 groups to present the results. Work on 3c. Ask Ss to draw a picture of what they think a city in the future will be like. Then describe it to the class. Guide Ss to say like this: There will be… 通过填空、完成句子以及小组合作描述预测等练习将来时。反复练习和巩固will be/do。
Step 3 The explaination (PPT 11-17) 1. Explain the usage of the simple future tense. 2. Explain the usage of there will be. 本部分主要讲解将来时的用法, 分析there will be的用法等等。
Step 4 Languagepoints (PPT 18-32) Ask Ss to summarize the simple future tense and the usage of the following: fewer,less,more,people,money,free,home and sky. Review the grammar of this class. 请学生总结一般将来时的句型转换等用法。通过学生的总结，培养他们的概括能力。
Step 5 Exercises (PPT 33-40) Do some exercises to practice the simple future tense. Practice there will be. Practice the words fewer/less/more. 通过首字母填空、动词时态填空、句型转换以及翻译句子等形式练习所学的语法。
Step 6 中考链接 (PPT 41) Practice the usage of there will be. There will be的用法是中考常考的语法内容，因此选择该中考题使学生建立所学内容与中考的链接。
