脱口秀(美式英文:Talk Show,中文名字是英文之音译),亦称为谈话节目,是指一种由观众聚集在一起讨论主持人提出的话题的广播或电视节目。
一般脱口秀都有一系列的嘉宾,通常由有学问的或者对那档节目的特定问题、有特殊经验的人组成。脱口秀有松散性和幽默性等特点。
节目形式多种多样
在节目的表现形式上,不仅有现场观众参与的谈话节目,也有无现场观众的谈话节目,不仅有带嘉宾的谈话节目,也有不带嘉宾的谈话节目,不仅有在演播室现场录制的谈话节目,也有利用卫星通讯技术让不同地域的嘉宾同时进行交流的谈话节目。
谈话节目呈分众化趋势
针对不同的受众需求来制作电视节目,是当今世界电视发展的一个潮流。这不仅是电视节目日益增多、竞争日趋激烈的结果,也是电视商业化进程的内在要求。
国内“脱口秀”
国内被误用冠名的很多“脱口秀”节目,其实对应的并不只是欧美的“Talk Show(脱口秀)”,有的是“Stand-up comedy(单口喜剧)”香港称为栋笃笑(粤语正字:戙 笑,读:d ngduksíu),台湾称为独角喜剧;如果通篇主要是情景表演,则对应的是欧美的“sketch comedy(喜剧小品)”。
