T: Tom gets his basketball .Thanks for your help. 设计意图：创设情境，请学生帮助好友Tom找到他丢失的篮球，引导学生看图描述篮球的位置，学习表示地点位置的方位介词on，between..and... , behind, in front of , next to, across from... 在情感态度方面，培养学生乐于助人的精神。 2.Present new sentences (1) T: Tom misses his friend. He wants to find the pay phone. Can you help him Show the pictures in 2a and learn the sentence patterns. Point to the question and answer the example conversation and ask the students to ask and answer questions about other places in 2a. Use Tom’s tone to introduce his neighborhood. 设计意图：创设情景，好友Tom带领大家参观他家附近的街区，并且邀请大家去做客，引导学生描述Tom的街区环境设施的位置，做好写作示范。 2.Let students talk about Tom’s neighborhood. 设计意图：学生再次以tom 的口吻，介绍他家附近的街区，巩固句型，为下面的写作做铺垫。 3.Our school is beautiful .
