从学生角度分析为什么难 学生在空间位置关系的理解方面有困难;七年级学生目前对英语句型结构的认识比较模糊,在表达各建筑物之间的位置关系的方面,缺乏准确性。
难点教学方法 1. 整节课设置了贯穿始终的情景,激发学生的学习兴趣,通过生活化的环境,激活学生思维。 2. 运用多媒体的教学手段,使学生能直观地学习相关方位介词和位置关系的表达。 3. 教学内容由浅入深,层层递进,并且做好写作示范,为目标语言的生成奠定基础,引导学生学以致用。

导入 Lead-in 1. Teacher plays a video to lead in the topic and get students interested in it. T: Hello, everyone, let’s enjoy a video. What can you see Our city Shihezi is very beautiful. There are many places in it. 2.Our friend Tom likes the city and he comes here to study. 设计意图:播放视频,设置情景,激发学生的上课热情。
知识讲解 (难点突破) Presentation 1.Prepositions for position
Point to the pictures of the basketball and the box. Learn prepositions of place. T: Unluckily, he lost his favorite basketball. Where is it It’s on the box. ...... T: Tom gets his basketball .Thanks for your help. 设计意图:创设情境,请学生帮助好友Tom找到他丢失的篮球,引导学生看图描述篮球的位置,学习表示地点位置的方位介词on,between..and... , behind, in front of , next to, across from... 在情感态度方面,培养学生乐于助人的精神。 2.Present new sentences (1) T: Tom misses his friend. He wants to find the pay phone. Can you help him Show the pictures in 2a and learn the sentence patterns. Point to the question and answer the example conversation and ask the students to ask and answer questions about other places in 2a. A:Where is the pay phone B:The pay phone is on Green Street. 设计意图:创设情境,Tom想要找到付费电话,很自然地将学生引入到问路的情景中,将2a图片建筑物之间的位置关系作为语言的输入,观察图片,让学生感知和学习新句型。 从教句型,半控制操练,到学生自主看图问答,使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。学生要先从模仿到初步掌握,最后才能熟练应用。 3.Practice Let students describe the position of the pay phone in different pictures. Give the example. In picture 1, the pay phone is ..... 设计意图:巩固操练新句型,正确运用介词描述设施的不同位置,为后面的活动和目标语言的生成奠定基础。 4.Game Find the differences. Point to the different locations shown in the picture1 and picture 2.Say like this. In picture 1 , the school is across from the park. In picture 2 , the school is across from the hospital. Ask students to find the differences between picture1 and picture 2. 设计意图:游戏环节符合七年级学生具有好奇心的年龄特点,能够提高他们的学习兴趣,同时检测学生能否正确运用介词描述位置关系。
课堂练习 (难点巩固) Writing 1.Show a map of Tom’s neighborhood. Tom’s neighborhood is beautiful and busy. He asks you to have to look at the places around it. Use Tom’s tone to introduce his neighborhood. 设计意图:创设情景,好友Tom带领大家参观他家附近的街区,并且邀请大家去做客,引导学生描述Tom的街区环境设施的位置,做好写作示范。 2.Let students talk about Tom’s neighborhood. 设计意图:学生再次以tom 的口吻,介绍他家附近的街区,巩固句型,为下面的写作做铺垫。 3.Our school is beautiful . Write an email to Tom and tell him the places around our school. 设计意图:给Tom 写一封电子邮件,介绍自己学校的周边环境,邀请他来参观我们的学校,通过学校这个真实的生活化的环境,充分激活学生思维,运用所学知识来写作,实现在生活中运用英语的能力。
