教材 分析 Unit2课文介绍的是英国的中学生亚历克斯在学校一天的生活。学校生活是学生非常熟悉的话题，学生容易激发学习兴趣和表达欲望，有利于师生在课堂上展开语言实践活动。时间是谈论学校生活时经常涉及的话题，通过阅读文章，学生能够了解英国中学生的日常生活状况。本课课文信息量大，有利于培养学生在阅读中提取细节信息的能力，同时又可以促进学生思维能力的发展。
学情 分析 学生已知：Unit 1已经学习了课程科目和时间的表达法，具有一定的词汇和语法储备；上学日的话题和学生们的生活息息相关，话题贴近学生生活。 学习重点：掌握实义动词的一般现在时表达、目标语时间表达法等，重点让学生掌握at，in等介词在时间方面的应用。 突破措施：通过泛读和精读，加深对文本的理解；加强重点句型的练习，为后期的语言输出做准备；利用小组合作，加强练习。 通过本单元的学习，学生能够基本掌握按时间顺序介绍自己在校日常生活的能力，从而养成合理安排时间的好习惯。 通过谈论“英国学校生活”，增进中西方文化沟通了解。
学习 目标 通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1. 在语境中理解并认读下列词汇：begin, go to school, get up, have breakfast, start,work, break, have lunch, go home, evening, watch, have dinner, do homework, go to bed（以语块的形式呈现）。掌握以上重点词汇的用法。 2.通过skimming、scanning阅读技巧准确匹配段落和图片；通过careful reading准确获取Alex学校日常生活的细节信息并完成表格或思维导图； 3.根据图片和表格提示，复述课文，并流畅、无误地朗读全文； 4. 仿照课文，运用所学词汇和句型描述自己的上学日，写一篇My favorite school day。
