教材 分析 本文是一篇介绍英国博物馆的科学说明文，让学生体会说明文语言的客观性、介绍的空间方位的有序性，是第二课时的一大重点。 另外，课文文章含有if +祈使句语句，句意理解对学生都不构成难点，利于学生掌握；但用法属于首次出现，需要明晰规则，练习巩固；另外，抽象型单词13个，需要掌握词的用法的有5个。
学情 分析 本课生词多，内容长，对于学生来说，如何恰当断句，准确朗读课文有比较大的难度。抽象意义单词偏多，单词的用法复杂，需要通过大量的练习来掌握。如何在第一课时理解内容的基础上，转化为自己的语言，准确复述，也是本课的难点。
学习 目标 通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1.通过跟读、自读、互读，准确、流利朗读课文； 2.正确用compare…with…, of all ages, whole翻译、填词、造句；在语境中体会、归纳if+祈使句的意义，准确连句； 3.根据思维导图，准确、流利地复述课文； 4.根据U2课文，仿写介绍学校美术教室的文章；
评价任务 评价标准
1.朗读课文展示（指向目标1） 能发音标准，断句、连读准确，运用恰当的语调和节奏朗读课文；
2.文中勾画重点句子，填词、翻译造句（指向目标2） 能准确填词、翻译造句；
3.观察句子，归纳并说出if +祈使句的用法；翻译句子； (指向目标2) 能通过观察句子，独立归纳语法意义； 能准确连接两个句子，符合逻辑
4.根据思维导图复述课文（指向目标3） 能够内容全面、词汇恰当、组织有序地复述课文
