教材 分析 第二单元的课文是以报刊或杂志中读者来信寻求建议及回复给出建议的形式出现的。课文内容与学生生活密切相关，能激发学生的学习兴趣，也有利于教师组织课堂讨论，开展语言训练活动。本模块的语法重点是条件状语从句“If从句（一般现在时）+主句（一般将来时）”。这是比较重要、比较难掌握的一项语法内容，因此教材中提供了充分的语言材料供学生理解和运用。
学情 分析 本单元的话题贴近学生生活实际，学生比较感兴趣。在模块五已经学习了“if从句+祈使句”结构，教师可以提示学生通过对比的方式学习本模块的语法条件状语从句“If从句（一般现在时）+主句（一般将来时）”。
学习 目标 在本课时结束时，学生能够： 能够正确运用if引导的条件状语从句。 能够正确使用文章中的重点词汇及语言点：come round, try out, no longer, be angry with sb., at least, pocket money, tell sb. the truth. 通过变式朗读，能正确自然有感情地朗读文章； 能够写出困扰自己的问题并寻求建议。
