教材 分析 本课是外研社英语九年级上册M11 Photos Unit 2 The photo which we liked best was taken by Zhao Min. 本单元介绍了今年摄影比赛的四个获奖人，并介绍了他们的获奖照片以及获奖理由。通过这样的方式让学生学习怎样描述照片，以及学习which引导的定语从句，使学生更容易接受和理解该语法。本单元采用任务型语言教学模式，运用灵活多样的教学形式，使学生愉快、积极、高效地对新学语言进行感知、体验、学习和运用，努力使这节课具有交际性、实用性、趣味性和科学性。
学情 分析 学生对定语从句已有一定的学习, 对that和 who 引导的定语从句已经有所学习，对照片这个话题也比较熟悉，但对于如何用which引导的定语从句正确描述照片有一定的难度。
学习 目标 通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1.能在具体语境中猜测、辨认并运用下列单词：tonight, winner, rush, skirt ,present ,congratulations 及短语：read out , compared with , even though , protect sth. against sth.等词汇。 2.能够读懂有关介绍摄影比赛的语段，找出照片的拍摄者、主题，并能够获取照片的细节信息。 3.能在文中找出which 和who 引导的定语从句，并能正确分析定语从句。 4.能根据思维导图复述课文。
评价任务 评价标准
1.能准确读出并能识别本单元重点单词、短语意思（指向目标1） 在有生词的情况下，不影响阅读任务的完成；选出正确释义
2.能运用不同的阅读策略、技巧准确获取文章相关信息（指向目标1、2） 正确完成相关阅读理解题目
