Task 2:
1.1a通过实物,如:生词卡,课本,磁带等,同桌结对练习1a句型:

(1)“by+动名词”在句中常作方式状语,此处的by是介词,意为“通过;靠”,表示方法、手段、途径等,意为“通过……;用……;借助……”,其位置可放在句首或句末。其后除了接动名词以外,还可以接名词或代词。
如:他通过听英文歌曲提高了听力(水平)。
He improved his listening ________________________.
所有的工作他都得用电脑来完成。He had to do all the work ___________.
(2)“by+动名词”可以用来回答How引导的特殊疑问句。
如:你是如何学习数学的?—_______ do you learn math

【拓展】by的其它用法:
(1) by +地点,意为“靠近;在...旁边”。
如:汤姆坐在教室的窗边。Tom sits _____________ in the classroom.
(2) by +时间,意为“不迟于;在...之前”。
如:妈妈叫他10点前回家。Mom told him to come back home _________.
(3) by+交通工具,意为“乘......(表示方式)”。
如:他骑自行车上班。He goes to work _________.
(4) 意为“由……所作”。

(5) 意为“逐一;连续”

3. 看1a中的图,预测这三位学生都是如何学习英语的,为1b英语听力做好准备。
4. 同桌结对完成1b听力,并核对答案,并模仿1b结对练习,跟着录音机朗读听力材料。
5. 模仿秀:观看小视频(1a、1b),听其中的重点句段,反复跟读,模仿语音语调。
6. 结对练习1c中的对话,然后让2~3对学生表演,并用1a和1b的信息编练对话。

Task 3:
1. 阅读2a和2b中的句子,预测答案。
2. Language points
Do you have conversations with friends in English (教材P2 2a)
have conversations with sb. 意为“与某人交谈”,conversation 既可作可数名词,也可作不可数名词,意为“交谈;谈话”。其同义短语为have a talk with sb.或talk to/with sb.。
如:前几天,我与她作了一次长谈。I _____________________________ her the other day.
我不会继续和一个小孩说这样的话。I will not continue to ____________________________ a child.
It’s too hard to understand spoken English.(教材P2 2a)
(1)本句为“It+be+adj.+to do sth.”结构,中it为形式主语,真正的主语是to do sth.;因为主语太长,为避免头重脚轻,用it作形式主语,而把真正的主语“to understand spoken English”放在后面。
如:完成那项工作很容易。____ quite easy ______________.

(2)“too+形容词/副词+动词不定式”结构简称为“too…to…”结构,大多数情况下表示否定意义,常意为“太…而不能…;太…无法…”。

3. 第一遍听2a的录音,选出听到的问题,同桌结对完成2a并交流,集体核对答案。
4. 再听录音,使2b中的答句与2a中的问题相匹配,集体核对答案,跟着录音机朗读听力材料。
5. 让学生利用2a、2b中的信息仿照2c的形式练习,并要多组学生表演。

(1)patient在此处作形容词,意为“有耐心的”,其名词形式为patience。be patient with sb.意为 “对某人有耐心”,be patient to do sth. 意为“做某事有耐心”。

(2)patient还可作可数名词,意为”病人”。
