that引导的宾语从句
He believes (that) he will win.
I think (that) mooncakes are delicious.
that引导的宾语从句是由陈述句变化而来；
其中的that无具体意义，在口语中可以省略。

whether/if引导的宾语从句
1. Are you free tonight
I want to know whether/if you are free tonight.
2. Is June a good time to visit Hong Kong
I wonder whether/if June is a good time to visit Hong Kong.
whether/if引导的宾语从句是由一般疑问句变化而来, 但从句一定要用陈述语序。whether/if意为“是否”，两者一般可以互换。

宾语从句的时态
1. 主句为一般现在时，从句时态根据具体情况而定。
e.g. He tells me that his sister will come back tomorrow.
2. 主句为一般过去时，从句用相应的过去时态。
e.g. He said that he could finish his work before supper.
3. 当宾语从句表示客观事实或真理时，其时态用一般现在时，不受主句时态限制。
e.g. The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun．

三、宾语从句转化为简单句
1.当主从句的主语一致时：
1) I don’t know what I shall do next.
I don’t know what to do next.
2)John didn’t decide which shirt he would buy.
John didn’t decide which shirt to buy.
2.当主句的谓语含有双宾语时，如果间宾与从句（直宾）中的主语一致时：
Can you tell me how I can get to the zoo
= Can you tell me how to get to the zoo
四、宾语从句的否定前移
如果主句谓语动词是 think， believe
suppose等，变否定句时需要否定前移。
I don’t think you are right .
( 我认为你不对。)
五、宾语从句注意事项
(一)当从句的原句为以下句子以及what, who作主语时，语序不变：
what’s wrong
I don’t know what’s the matter.
who is over there
(二)只能用whether不能用if的情况
1.在介词后面：
I’m thinking of whether we should go fishing.
2.在动词不定式前：
They asked me whether to sit at the front.
3.当与or not连用，或提出两种选择 时:
I don’t know whether he’s free or not
4.宾语从句提前表示强调时：
Whether this is true or not, I can’t say.
5.在动词discuss后的宾语从句中:
We discussed whether we would have a sports meeting next week.
6.引导表语从句或位于句首的主语从句用whether：
Whether he is right or wrong is a question.
The question was whether he went there last night.
