由连接代词 who, whom, whose, which,
what 和 连接副词 where, how, why, when
Grammar
(1). I heard (that) he has passed the exam.
(2). I wonder weather/if he has passed the exam.
(3). I asked when he passed the exam.
(4). She asked me when he came back home
every morning.
(5). Can you tell ne how he got back home
(6). I don’t know why he came back home.
I don’t know where we will go for holiday.
He asked where we should go for holiday.
I always think they’re for people whose English
is quite good.
I always thought they were for people whose
English is already quite good.
In the past, people didn’t know that the earth
moves around the sun.
I didn’t know you like classical music.
Can you tell me where I can get my car repaired
I don’t know when I can get the result of the test.
whom, whose引导;
指代人和物时,由 that 引导;
when, where, why 等引导。
a. who, whom, whose
This is the man who wants to see you.
Who’s the man (whom) you just talked to
Is this the girl whose mother is a singer
A plane is a machine which can fly.
The film (which) we saw last night was funny.
Do you see the children that are playing baseball
The letter (that) I received yesterday was from
my mother.
I’ll never forget the day when / on which I
joined the Party.
Summer is the season when / in which many
people often go swimming.
This is the house where / in which we lived
for ten years.
Tell me the reason why / for which you went
there.
从所指来看,which只能用于先行词为物的情况;
whom 用于引导词在定语从句中作宾语的情况;
Everyone who/that gets to Shenzhen says it is a
modern city.
This is the song which/that has been extremely
popular for the last few months.
Mr. Li is the teacher that/whom/who we like
best.
What are the subject (that) they are studying
this term
She is the woman (who/whom) I met yesterday.

Everyone wants to study what they are good
at, don’t they ” He believes that he has a bright
future ahead of him. “You can’t have a society
where everyone works in an office. Workers
who can make things and repair things will
always be needed.”
When people ask Mark what he is most
