Step 1 Free talk. Who do you want to thank on school – leavers’ party Why What should a good friend be like
Step 2 Think about a speech at a school leavers’ party, and answer the questions in pairs.
Step 3 Look at a picture about a speech and talk :What can the speech be about What will the speaker say in the speech
Step 4 Look at the video and answer the question.
Step 5 Ask Ss to read and find the sentences which show.
Step 6 Read and answer questions.
Step 7 Read and check the answers to the questions.
Step 8 Work in groups. Recall your memories about the happiness of the last three years and discuss who you want to thank and give the reasons.
