Writing a good beginning is not more difficult than writing a boring one, like this: Niaman was a sailor (水手) and worked on a ship. The captain’s name was Captain Deer.
Captain Deer was an unkind man,
and he shouted at the sailors
all the time. Niaman was very怎样写好一个故事的开头? unhappy and one day he decided to escape. This beginning is simple, but it is not very interesting. We read lots of information, but we do not have a picture of Niaman or the captain in our minds. The writer gives us the information first, but then we have to wait for the story.
It is better to start with the story,
and then add the information
as the story continues.? “The water was dark and icy-cold as Niaman dived(跳水) off the side of the ship soon after midnight.” The first sentence and paragraph of a story are the most important. If you don’t catch readers’ attention at the very beginning, they may not stay with you. Catching a reader is like catching a fish; you must keep it “hooked (钩
住)” until the last page.怎样写好一个故事的开头? 怎样写好一个故事的开头? ??? One way is to dive straight in (开门见山), as with the sentence above. Another way is with a dialogue: “If you do not obey my orders, I’ll throw you off the boat!” shouted Captain Deer. Niaman thought of the sharks and shivered(发抖)...
Both these two beginnings make readers ask questions. Why did Niaman dive off the ship, especially
in the middle of the night? Why
was the captain angry?? ? In fact, writing a good beginning is not more difficult than writing a boring one. (写好开头并不比写一个乏味的开头困难多少。)怎样写好一个故事的开头? 注: word 文档
