While Tony was playing in the park, I was visiting my grandparents. 结论：过去进行时 when while 1. when所引导的时间状语既可以指时间点，也可以指时间段；while所引导的时间状语只指时间段。 2. 在when引导的时间状语从句中，动词可以是终止性动词，也可以是延续性动词。而while引导的时间状语从句中，动词必须是延续性动词。 3. 当主句和从句的动作都是延续的或同时发生的，两句都使用过去进行时的时候，多用while引导。 对句子中涉及的语法进行点拨讲解。
