琳达，你的生日是什么时候？
when是疑问副词，意为“什么时候”，引导特殊疑问句。
句式是 “When+一般疑问句 ”，when可以对年、月、日和时刻提问。
—When do you have lunch 你什么时候吃午饭？
—At about twelve o’clock. 大约12点。

意为“什么时候”, 可以对年、月、日以及时刻进行提问, 或者询问某一动作发生的时间, 回答时常用介词 at, in, on等组成的表示时间的介词短语。
意为“几点”, 用于询问具体的时间, 如几点几分, 通常直接回答某个时间点。

(1) 表示日期时, 月份的首字母必须大写, 2nd 是序数词 second 的简写, 用来表示顺序。表示 日时, 通常用序数词表示。
(2) 当日期具体到某天时, 用介词 on。
