The theme of Culture Corner is numbers from all over the world. Its main content is that people all over the world use different methods to write numbers. Chinese, Roman, British and Arabic numerals 1 to 5 are quoted in this paper. At the end of the article, a question was raised: Do you know how people in other cultures write numbers The title is a mini encyclopedia of numbers. In this project, students are required to make a mini encyclopedia. Exercise A asks students to discuss the topics of numbers in groups. Exercise B asks the group to decide on a theme and then do some research on it. The exercise text introduced that ancient Romans had different ways of writing numbers. Ask students to write a short passage by imitating the examples in the passage.
