本课时包括Listen, point and say. & Listen and say两个模块。Listen, point and say呈现了三幅不同的图片，每幅图片上的人数不同，Listen and say呈现了几幅不同的图片，每幅图片中的动物和做的事情都不一样，体现了动物和动作的单词，短语和意义。动物和动作都贴近学生的实际生活，更能激发学生学习的兴趣。
本课时是新授课，四会单词需要提前讲解，方便学生接受新知。在设计教学过程时，遵循以学生为主体的原则。采用听、说、读、 写、玩的方法调动全体学生的参与。通过任务型教学法、合作探究教学法等引导学生自主学习。
