Stonehenge, a rock circle, is not only one of Britain’s most famous historical places but also one of its greatest mysteries.
巨石阵、岩石圈,不仅是英国最著名的历史古迹之一也是它的一个最大的奇迹之一。
not only… but also 用于连接两个表示并列关系的成分，着重强调后者，其意为“不但…… 而且”；其中的also有时可以省略。
例如：Alice is not only good at English but also does well in sports.
注意：若连接两个成分作主语，其谓语通常与靠近的主语保持一致。例如：Not only you but also he likes sports very much.
