Katrina formed on the Atlantic Ocean, where there was a tropical depression.

1. Because the hurricane happened in August, it was really hot and it smelled so bad everywhere. Their street turned into a river, and they couldn't go anywhere. They stayed at a house without roof, which made them become breakfast, lunch and dinner for the mosquitos. At the same time, they didn't have enough water to drink and his cat disappeared. In a word, their condition was really tough, which made him anxious and felt time passing so slowly.
