Introduction (8 minutes)1.Get students ready for learning.2.Help students revise asking someone else’s name and nationality. Prepare for the new lesson. 3.Show a calendar to students and teach the new words one by one (根据课本1c的顺序);Then check the learning result. 本本节课在上节课所学知识的基础上,学习生日和日期的表达法,并引入了序数词的学习。老师在授课过程中要教给学生一些记忆方法,如:基变序很容易,多数加上th,第一,二,三要注意,结尾各是t,d,d, 8减t,9减e,-ve结尾换f, 以y结尾换ie, 结尾再加th, 如果遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。这样,本节课的难点就很容易突破了。

本节课主要学习运用重点句型询问和描述物体形状、尺寸、用途的表达方式,并复习了be动词的一般过去时态。在课堂教学中,询问物体形状、尺寸、用途的表达方式容易被学生们接受,但是,表示形状的词汇学生掌握起来较难。因此,老师要帮助学生用一些单词记忆策略来记忆单词。
