This clown is a clown doctor who works in a hospital or other health care facilities. His job is to comfort, entertain and cheer up patients, their families as well as the hospital staff in order to remove their nervousness and make them feel better.

2. “Laughter is the best medicine” does not mean that you should not take medicine when you are sick. It simply means that having a positive outlook might help ease your troubles. First, laughter speeds up our heart rate, increases our blood pressure and quickens our breathing. Next, laughter is a kind of pain relief. In addition, laughter stimulates our immune system(免疫系统), preventing us from being infected by diseases.
