一、用法
类别 要点 举例
定义 表示说话时正在进行的动作或现阶段所处的状态
结构 主语+be（am, is, are）+v.-ing+其他.
时间标志词 look, listen, now, at the moment, these days
用法 （1）表示说话时正在进行或发生的动作，常和now连用，有时用一个动词,如look（看）,listen（听） He is playing the piano now. 他现在正在弹钢琴。
Look! The train is coming. 看！火车来了。
（2）表示现阶段正在进行的动作，说话时动作未必正在进行，常和at present（目前）,this week（本周），these days（这几天）等时间状语连用 Mr Green is writing another novel. 格林先生正在写另一部小说。（说话时未必正在写，只是近期处于写作的状态）
What lesson are you studying this week 你们本周在学哪一课？（说话时并不在学）
用法 （3）现在进行时有时可用来表示一个在最近按计划或安排要进行的动作，常用的动词有：go（去），come（来），leave（离开），arrive（到达）等 Are you going to Tianjing tomorrow 你明天去天津吗？
How many of you are coming to the party next week 你们下周有多少人来参加晚会？
（4）描述图片中的人物的动作，为了表达得更生动,此时也常用现在进行时 Look at the picture！ The children are flying kites in the park. 看这幅图！孩子们正在公园里放风筝。
句式 肯定句：主语＋be＋v.-ing＋其他. She is writing a book in the study now. 她现在正在书房写书。
否定句：主语＋be＋not＋v.-ing＋其他. She is not writing a book in the study now. 她现在不在书房写书。
一般疑问句：Be＋主语＋v.-ing＋其他 肯定回答： Yes，主语＋am / is / are. 否定回答： No，主语＋am not / isn't / aren't. —Is she writing a book in the study now 她现在正在书房写书吗？
—Yes, she is. 是的，她正在书房写书。
—No, she isn't. 不，她不在书房写书。
二、现在分词的变化规则
规则 举例
一般情况下，动词后直接加-ing work→working visit→visiting
以字母e结尾的动词，去掉e，然后加-ing take→taking have→having
以辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母的重读闭音节结尾的动词，如果末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写这个辅音字母，然后加-ing run→running
get→getting
shop→shopping
以ie重读音节结尾的动词，变ie为y再加-ing lie→lying（躺）die→dying（死）
