语法知识：关于定语从句
定语从句是指在复合句中作定语的从句，定语从句所修饰的词叫先行词。
定语从句通常放在先行词的后面，由关系代词或关系副词引导。我们本单元学习由关系代词that、which或who引导的定语从句。
定语从句的结构：句子结构：主句+先行词+关系词+定语从句，例如：I like music that has great lyrics. 本句中music 是先行词，也是被修饰词，that为关系词，其作用一般有三种：代替先行词、连接主从句和充当从句的成分。
定语从句的连接词：which \ that \ who等的用法：先观察以下句子的连接词。
1. China is a country which/that has a long history.
2. This is the book which/that my mother bought me yesterday.
3. The man who/that is standing by the door is her brother.
4. I like the boy who/whom/that I met at the party.
由例句可以看出，1.which 引导的定语从句修饰的是物，who 引导的定语从句修饰的是人 。
which和who在定语从句中既可以作主语也可以做宾语。which在定语从句中作主语或宾语时均可用that代替。Who在句中无论做主语还是宾语，都可以用that代替，who在定语从句中作宾语时，还可以用whom代替。
