The shape of the full moon is circle, which represents family
reunion and long life. It has special meanings for the people
who are far away from home because wherever people are,
they could always see the same moon and admire it to show
their homesickness/love/miss to their family.
2. Why is the story Chang’e flies to the moon so touching
First, Chang’e’s spirit of self-sacrifice(自我牺牲) and Hou
Yi’s waiting for Chang’e impress/touch the readers. Second, the deep love between Chang’e and Hou Yi can arouse the empathy of the readers. People feel sympathy for them.
