Unit 4 At the farm A Let’s talk教学设计-小学英语(PEP)四年级下册
一、目标依据
新课程标准要求学生对英语有好奇心,喜欢听他人说英语,能根据教师的简单指令做动作,做事情。能做简单的角色表演。能在图片的帮助下听懂和读懂简单的小故事。能交流简单的个人信息,表达简单的感觉和情感。在学习中乐于模仿,敢于表达,对英语具有一定的感知能力。
二、教材分析
本课时是 PEP小学英语四年级下册 Unit4 的第一课时,本部分学生学习的核心句型是:Are these carrots Yes, they are. What are these They’re tomatoes. 教材通过 Mike 与Sarah参观农场并与农场主人对话的情景让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景。本课时核心句型是涉及名词复数形式的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句,这一知识点在四年级上册第四单元的 B Let’s talk 出现过一次,本册学生用书的前三单元均未有涉及。教师可创设适当语境让学生充分感受并理解名词单、复数的意义以及相应句型的变化,并能在情境中正确运用和表达。三、学情分析
本课时核心句型是涉及名词复数形式的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句,这一知识点在四年级上册第四单元的 B Let’s talk 出现过一次,本册学生用书的前三单元均未有涉及。教师可创设适当语境让学生充分感受并理解名词单、复数的意义以及相应句型的变化,并能在情境中正确运用和表达。
四、教学目标
知识目标:
1.能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。
2. 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。
3. 能够在情景中运用所学句型问答是否是某蔬菜以及是何蔬菜:
Are these carrots Yes, they are.
What are these They’re tomatoes.
能在情景中恰当运用句型 They’re good/so big! 描述蔬菜特点。
4. 能够在看图片问答的游戏中,运用所学句型
What are these Are they tomatoes
问答卡片上所画的物品。
能力目标:能听说认读句型:Are these carrots Yes, they are. What are these They’re tomatoes. 能在情景中恰当运用句型
情感目标:
创设学习情境,激发学生学习的热情和兴趣,提高学生学习的积极性和主动性,引导学生积极地走进大自然,热爱大自然并享受大自然。
五、教学重难点
1. 重点:能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。能够在情景中运用所学句型问答是否是某蔬菜以及是何蔬菜:
Are these carrots Yes, they are.
What are these They’re tomatoes.
能在情景中恰当运用句型 They’re good/so big! 描述蔬菜特点。
2. 难点:these发音较难;理解和感知一般疑问句和特殊疑问句并注意升降调;在真实的情境中去熟练运用这些单词和句型。
六、教学过程
Step1 Warm up
Sing a song “Old Macdonald had a farm”
Step2 Presentation
1. T: So nice song.” In the song, there are so many animals at Old Macdonald’s farm.
Look! What’s this (教师拿出一张画有小鸭子的图片)
Ss: It’s a duck.
T: And what’s this (教师再拿出一张画有猪的图片)
Ss: It’s a pig.
2.T: But what are these (教师出示一张画有几只鸭子的图片)
Ss: ducks. / They’re ducks.
T: Yes. 板书
What are these
They’re...教读单词 “these” ,分音节教读,并强调字母组合 th的发音,注意发音部位和发音要领。
3.教师走到学生中间,和学生进行互动问答。
T: What are these
S1: They are ducks. Then ask and answer with s2, s3, s4...
(教师把图片贴到黑板的一角)
4. (show a picture about pigs) Now, who can ask
S5: What are these
T: They’re pigs. (pass the card to another student)
S6: What are these
S7: They’re pigs. What are these
S9: They’re pigs....(师把图片贴到黑板一角)
5. T: What are these (出示狗的图片)
SS: They’re dogs. (师再把图片贴到黑板一角)
T: Wow, so many animals. And there are some vegetables at his farm, too. Let’s go and have a look.
6.(课件)
T: First, watch a video and choose. What are at the farm (picture 1 2 3 4)
S10: Picture 2,3
T: And, can you tell me “ What are these ” (指着图片上的西红柿和胡萝卜)
7.Now, listen and answer. (After listening) teacher point to the picture of the tomatoes, ask “ what are these ”
8.The students answer and learn the word “tomato” 板书,教读,简笔画学习复数tomatoes.并且描述 They’re red/ big.
9.同样的方式学习 carrots.
10.(指着黑板上简笔画樱桃萝卜,问)
Are these carrots 板书句子
Ss: Yes, they are. (No, they aren’t.)教师订正答案:No, they aren’t. 并板书教师出示实物小西红柿,问:Are these tomatoes
Ss: Yes, they are. 板书
11.T: They’re small. Would you like them
Ss: Yes.
T: Try some, please. ( 请几个学生品尝西红柿)教师请学生猜猜“try some”的意思。
12. T: Look at the blackboard, what a beautiful farm! Let’s ask and answer.针对黑板上的图片问答,What are these They’re ...Are these... Yes / No
13.请学生两人一组就课前准备好的图片进行问答。
14. 台前用实物投影展示问答。
15. Open the books, watch and repeat.
16.Read in roles in groups.

Step3 Consolidation1.
T: Sarah and Mike are at the farm, the farm is good, now, let’s go to the farm! Make a new dialogue, then act it out. (ppt)
As a group, look at the paper in each group. First , give the students an example.(老师和学生作示范表演)Practice in groups. Act it out.
2.T: Beautiful farm! And it’s warm now, you can go outside to play with your family, some beautiful pictures for you! 播放电子相册,欣赏春天美景。Come into the nature! Enjoy the nature! Love the nature!

Dubbing for let’s talk on pP38 and upload it to your class group.
