Chinese people have been celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries.
Most people think that the story of Chang’e is the most touching.
He found that the moon was so bright and round that he could see his wife there.
How he wished that Chang’e could come back!

① whoever作代词,意为“无论谁;不管什么人”,在此处引导主语从句,相当于anyone who。

② whoever还可引导让步状语从句,相当于no matter who,意为“无论谁;不管什么人”。

steal动词,意为“偷;窃取”。steal的过去式是stole,过去分词是stolen。既可作及物动词,也可作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,接表示被偷物的名词或代词作宾语。steal也可接双宾语,其间接宾语可转化为介词for的宾语。steal sb. sth.=steal sth. for sb. 为某人偷窃某物。steal sth. from…… 意为 “从……偷(某物)”
