Teaching procedures
Step 1: Introduce what the infinitives is.
Infinitives: to do (否定形式:not to do)
Step 2: Teach the structure of the sentences
句子成分:主语,谓语,宾语,表语,定语,状语,补语
Tell students that 动词不定式能作除谓语以外的任何成分。
Step 3: Teach the usage of infinitives
Infinitives after verbs or verbs + objects
举例说明:
a) Pansy wanted to get information for her article.
b) Mr Jones expected the insurance company to pay him 300,000 dollars for the vase.

Infinitives after wh- words
举例说明:
a) I decided what to do next.
b) I decided how to do it next. (提示学生注意这两个短语)

Read through lines 1 to 9 and find the answers to the questions To help the students get some specific information
