四、任务型阅读
Over the summer vacation, a group of school kids in Wuhan were asked to record their parents’ and their emotion(情绪) over three weeks. The organizers wanted the challenge to help the kids and their parents not to lose their temper (脾气). News of the challenge soon spread online, and people started trying it out for themselves.
At the same time, however, the news led to many discussions – not only on anger itself, but on how we should deal with emotions.
All of us get angry from time to time. But is showing our emotions such a bad thing Let’s take a look at what people say.
Feeling angry is a human phenomenon(现象). It is like feeling hungry, lonely, loving, or tired. Indeed, anger is a common emotion. As teenagers, we should think about what it is that’s making us feel angry and try to manage that.
“You can control your anger, and you should force yourself to do so,” anger specialist Isabel Clarke told the UK’s National Health Service website.
Don’t be too hard on yourself when feeling angry. Being a teenager is hard, especially with all the schoolwork and responsibility. As a result, it is easier for us to get angry. But if we take a few small steps, though, learning to put out that fire inside us can become a lot easier.
According to the BBC’s Advice website, putting our anger into something that requires creativity is an easy way to deal with it. So, the next time you feel anger building up, you shouldn’t lock it away. But rather than lose your temper, try expressing your bad emotions in a positive(积极) way. Paint something, write a poem, sing a song, or just go for a walk.
After all, having emotions is what makes us human. And without them – even anger – the world wouldn’t be as beautiful as it is now. But, we shouldn’t let it hurt ourselves or others.
Control Emotions
The challenge Kids recorded their parents’ and their own emotion over three weeks.
Its 1 was to help the kids and their parents not to lose temper.
As the news spread, people tried out for themselves and began to 2 anger and emotions.
Opinions Feeling anger is as 3 as feeling hungry, lonely, loving or tired.
Anger specialist Isabel Clarke said people should force themselves to 4 anger.
5 on how teenagers manage anger Teenagers should find out the 6___________ of anger and realize that it is natural to feel angry with responsibility and homework. Put anger into something 7 . Express anger in a positive way 8 of locking it away or losing temper.
Conclusion Emotions are part of being 9 . Although the world would be 10 beautiful without anger, we should let it hurt others.
