[探究] (1)该句是由how引导的特殊疑问句,用来询问某人的身体或心情如何。该句的答语常含有表示感觉的形容词,不能用yes或no来回答。其常见的答语:I am happy./I feel sad.
(2)feel意为“感觉”,是系动词,后面接形容词作表语。
[观察2] What's wrong 怎么了?
[探究] 本句常用来询问对方的病情或其他不适情况,也可以用“What's the matter ”或“What's up ”来表示。当要说明对象时, 则需要加介词with 来表示。

Her stomach hurts. 她胃痛。
[探究] (1)hurt可作形容词,意为“痛的;受伤的”,在句中作表语。
(2)hurt作及物动词时,意为“使(身体)受伤,伤到……;伤害(感情)”。
Don't hurt your eyes. 不要伤到你的眼睛。
(3)hurt还可作不及物动词,意为“(身体)疼痛,使……疼痛”,主语通常是表示身体部位的名词。
[观察4] My mum wants me to eat just one donut a day.
我妈妈想要我一天只吃一个面包圈。
[探究] want sb. to do sth. 意为“想要某人做某事”,sb. 要用人称代词的宾格形式。
They want me to play football.
他们想要我去踢足球。
[观察5] One donut a day is enough. 一天一个面包圈足够了。
[探究] enough作形容词时,意为“足够的”,修饰名词时,可以放在名词前,也可以放在名词后。enough作副词时,修饰形容词、副词或动词,并且放在这些词的后面。

Culture Tip
In English, you can use the words down and high to describe direction and height, like go down the street and the kite is high in the sky. But you can also use these words to describe feelings. To feel down means to feel sad. To feel high means to feel happy.
