[探究] how tall是疑问短语，对身高进行提问，意为“多高”，how tall 后面谓语动词的单复数形式取决于主语的单复数形式。
[拓展] 与how相关的疑问短语：

how tall 多高 用来询问某人/某物多高。
how long 多长时间； 多长 既可以对一段时间提问，也可以对物体的长度提问。
how many 多少 用来询问可数名词的数量。
how much 多少； 多少钱 既可以对不可数名词的数量提问，也可以对价格提问。
how far 多远 用来询问距离。

[探究] 在英语中，常用“数词＋量词(表示单位的名词)＋形容词”来表示计量，并且量词随数词而变化。
This room is 5.2 metres long and 3.5 metres wide.
