[辨析] lonely 与alone
lonely 作形容词，意为“孤独的；荒凉的”，在句中定语或表语，强调一种主观上的感受，带有感彩。
alone 作形容词或副词，意为“单独，独自”，表示一种客观情况下的“单独”，不可以作定语，不含感彩。
[一语辨异] Don't leave me alone. I will feel lonely.
