Unit 1 Back to School教案 Grammar and Usage (II):
Sentence Elements and Sentence Structures
学情分析： 本次教学为语法的第二课时。在第一堂课的基础上，学生对于五大基本句型及句子成分已有基本了解，所以在第二堂课上需要通过适当的练习巩固所学，达到会迁移、运用的目的。 本课的难点在于：如何在文章写作中运用到不同的句子结构。所以在写作开始之前，老师需要做大量的铺垫工作以达到最好的写作效果（如可先通过问答的形式来引导学生思考：“What is your goal for the new term ” & “How are you going to achieve your goal ” ）。
教学目标： 本节课课型为：语法课 语言能力层面：重点培养学生运用不同句子结构写作的能力； 思维品质层面：培养学生严谨、辩证思考的习惯； 文化意识层面：帮助学生更深层次的了解中文与英语之间的不同； 学习能力层面：培养迁移能力，并帮助学生在写作中运用多种句型。
教学重难点： 能读懂长难句，能从中抽丝剥茧找出句子主干； 能应用不同句型进行输出，完成作文。
教学过程Teaching procedures： Step 1Revision (Page 58 Part C). C. Match the sentence below with the correct structures. 1.Weather matters a great deal. (SVA ) 2. School meals are fresh and healthy. (SVP ) 3. Our school offers students a balanced diet. (SVOO) 4. A balanced diet keeps the body healthy. (SVOC) 5. Students have fresh fruit and vegetables. (SVO) 6. Amy likes watching English films very much. (SVOA ) 7. English learning is interesting, meaningful and practical. ( SVP ) 8. Focusing on using English makes English learning more effective. (SVOC) 9. The speech began. ( SV ) 10. She acquires a good knowledge of English. (SVO) Step 2Review five basic sentence structures. Subject + Verb (SV) Subject + Verb + Predicative (SVP) Subject + Verb + Object (SVO) Subject + Verb + Indirect object+ Direct object (SVOO) Subject + Verb + Object + Object complement (SVOC) Step 3Have students finish B1 on page 7. Have students finish the exercise on Page 7 B2 to make sure that students master sentence structures. Analyze the underlined sentences with the correct structure. Summary: After today’s class, you can not only tell the sentence structures or elements but can also write sentences with different structures, which will benefit you a lot in your writing. Assignment： Write a passage“My goal in the new term” by using as many sentence structures as possible. Find a partner to mark each other’s compositions and try to analyze sentence structures in it.
