2. 观察Grammar focus的句子,想一想,总结并归纳宾语从句的用法,老师并讲解。
要想了解宾语从句,那首先要知道什么是宾语。简单的说,宾语就是动作的承受者或者动作的对象,宾语一般放在动词、介词后。
◆ 动词后跟宾语
如:Jim like him. (him为代词词,充当like的宾语。)
I love English. (English为名词词,充当love的宾语。)
I like eating mooncakes.(eating为动名词,充当like的宾语。)
I want to watch dragon boat races. (to watch为不定式,充当want的宾语。)
◆ 介词后跟宾语
如:I am interested in Chinese festival. (Chinese festival为名词短语,充当in的宾语。)
宾语从句(object clause)
因此从上面我们看出宾语一般放在__________后。如果这个宾语用句子来替代了,这个句子就叫宾语从句。所以宾语从句通常放在___________________________________。
宾语从句的分类
1)由从属连词that引导的宾语从句
陈述句一般都用that引导,从属连词that无实际意义,不在从句中充当任何成分。此时宾语从句的成分齐全,句意明确。在口语和非正式文体中that可以省略,宾语从句的语序为陈述语序。
如:我认为他是个害羞的女孩。(I think. He is a shy girl.)
I think ___________________________.
许多人相信机器人会做我们的大部分工作。(Many people believe. Robots will do most our work.)
Many people believe __________________________________.
补充:否定转移
在英语中,I think/suppose/believe/guess/expect/consider等表示“认为”的词后的宾语从句如果是否定句,要把否定转移到主句的谓语动词上,从句谓语用肯定式,的这种现象称为“否定转移”。
如:我认为没有时间做这件事了。I __________ (that) there _____ be time to do it.
我认为他不会游泳。I __________ (that) he ________.
我认为你不能乘公共汽车去那里。I __________ (that) you ________ there by bus.
2)由从属连词 whether, if 引导的宾语从句。
一般疑问句一般都用whether/if引导,常放在ask,care,wonder,find out等词后引导从句。whether/if在从句中不作成分,但含有“是否”之义,在句中不可省略,宾语从句的语序为陈述语序。
如:莉莉想知道她奶奶是否喜欢那条狗。(Lily wanted to know. Does her grandma like the dog )
Lily want to know __________________________________.
她问我那男孩是否会画一匹马。(She asked me. Can the boy draw a horse?)
She asked me __________________________________
注意:只用whether不用if的情况
① 引导介词后的宾语从句时。
如:这取决于明天是否会下雪。It depends on __________(whether/if) it will snow tomorrow.
我关心的是他是否喜欢英语。I’m interested in __________(whether/if) he likes English.
② 与or not连用时。
如:我问你的秘书她是否能来。I asked your secretary __________(whether/if) she could come or not.
让我知道他是否已经通过了考试。Let me know _________(whether/if) he has passed the exam or not.③ 与不定式连用时。
如:我真的不知道是接受还是拒绝。I really don’t know _________(whether/if) to accept or refuse.
下周老师会告诉我们是否考试。Next Monday the teacher will tell us _____(whether/if) to have a test.
④ 宾语从句前置,置于句首时。
如:他们能否按时到这里,我们不知道。________(whether/if) they can come here on time, we don’t know.
我不在乎他们是否会来参加野营。_________(whether/if) they will join in the camp, I don’t care.
3)特殊疑问句中的宾语从句
特殊疑问句一般都用接代词what, who, whom, whose, which等等引导,引导词在宾语从句中充当主语、宾语、表语和定语等,因此不能省略。和连接副词when, where ,how, why等引导,引导词在宾语从句中作状语,不可以省略。宾语从句的语序为陈述语序。
如:你知道今天下午谁要来吗?(Do you know? who will come this afternoon )
Do you know ________________________________
我不知道是什么。(I don’t know. what is it)
I don’t know ___________________________.
我不知道你该依靠谁。(I don’t know. whom should you depend on?)
I don’t know __________________________________.
能告诉我我们得走哪个门吗?(Could you tell me? which gate do we have to go to )

宾语从句的人称的变化
人称的变化规则:一随主,二随宾,第三人称不更新。
1) 一随主:引号内的第一人称变间接引语后与主句主语的人称保持一致。
如:He says, “I like math very much.” 他说:“我非常喜欢数学。”
He says that _____________________.
2)二随宾:引号内的第二人称变间接引语后与主句宾语的人称保持一致。
如:He said to Lily, “you must get up early.” 他对莉莉说:“你必须早起。”
He told Lily that ____________________________.
3) 第三人称不更新:引号内的第三人称在变间接引语后人称不变
如:She said to me, “They want to help him.” 她对我说:“他们想帮助他。”
She told me that ______________________.
宾语从句的时态
1) 主句中谓语动词是一般现在或者祈使句时,从句中谓语动词的时态不受限制,可根据具体情况判断时态。
2)主句中谓语动词是一般过去时,从句中也必须要用过去的某种时态,以保持时态的前后呼应。
3)注意宾语从句表示的是客观真理、科学原理、自然现象、名言时,则用一般现在时,不受主句时态的限制。
口诀:宾语从句的时态
主现从不变:主句现在时,从句时态不变化。
主过从必过:主句过去时,从句时态向过去变化。(即4种过去的时态:一般过去时;过去进行时;过去将来时;过去完成时)
真理永不变:从句表示客观真理,从句时态用一般现在时。
学生做练习“宾语从句的用法”,学生完成任务并集体核对答案。
3. 观察Grammar focus的句子,总结并归纳感叹句的用法,老师并讲解。
所谓感叹句,就是用来表达喜怒哀乐等强烈情感的句子。近年来,感叹句的构成及转换是中考常考的考点之一。
感叹句一般由“what”和“how”来开头的句 “what”修饰名词,“how”修饰形容词和副词。
1) What引导的感叹句
“what”意为“多么”用作定语,修饰名词(被强调部分),名词前可有其它定语成份(即:形容词或冠词)。单数可数名词前要加不定冠词a/an,复数可数名词或不可数名词前不用冠词。
一般有三种形式,此时what为形容词,作定语,用来修饰它后面的名词或词组。
① what+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+主语+谓语!
如:多么有趣的故事呀! ______________________ it is!
她是个多么好的一个女孩啊!______________ she is!
② what+形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语!
如:多么大的雪呀!_______________ it is!
多么糟糕的天气!________________ it is!
③ what+形容词+可数名词复数+主语+谓语!
如:多么漂亮的花啊!____________________ they are!
他们是多么好的学生啊!_________________ they are!
2) How引导的感叹句
“how”意为“多么”,用作状语,修饰形容词或副词(被强调部分)。如果修饰形容词,则句中的谓语动词用系动词;如果how修饰副词,则句中的谓语动词用行为动词。
一般有三种结构形式。此时how是副词,用来修饰其的形容词或副词,也可以修饰动词。
① How+形容词/副词+主语+谓语!
如:今天多么冷呀!_________it is today!
他跑得多么快呀!_________ he runs!
② How +形容词+ a/an +名词+(主语+谓语)!
如:大象多重啊!_____________________ it is!
她是多么幸福的一个女孩啊!_______________ she is!
③ How+主语+谓语(陈述句)!
如:他是多么的爱他的儿子!______________________________
光阴似箭!______________________________
4. 学生做练习“感叹句的用法”,学生完成任务并集体核对答案。
5. 学生4a用所给单词、词组,模仿Grammar Focus 造句。
6. 处理4b重难点,学生朗读,并在宾语从句下画线。
7. 学生按4c要求分组活动,让若干学生报告本组情况。
