I. Teaching aims and learning objectives
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. Listen and get information from the introduction to films;
2. Use what they’ve learned to talk about different kinds of films;
3. Be engaged in class activities actively and cooperate with others efficiently.

III. Teaching procedures
T: Just now, we enjoyed a short video about Aquaman. Last Sunday, I went to see the film. It is a fantastic, wonderful and amazing film. And it is a science fiction film. Do you know other types of films Look at this picture, this is Titanic. It is a romantic film.
S: Romantic film.
T: This is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It is an action film.
S: Action film.
T: This is A quiet place. It is a horror film.
S: Horror film.
T: This is Coco. It is a cartoon film.
S: Cartoon.
T: This is Johnny English Strikes Again. It is a comedy.
S: Comedy.
T: This is Once Upon a Time in the West. It is a Western film.
S: Western.
T: Now let’s check the preview work. Open your books and turn to page 93 and check answers.
