1).一般过去时的否定句，一般疑问句及其简略回答
例句 ①.Brad wasn’t at home last night and didn’t study for the test.
②.—Were they in Shanghai yesterday
--- Yes, they were ./No , they weren’t.
③.I didn’t want to buy the skirt yesterday.
④.---Did you go to Beijing last week --Yes , we did /No, we didn’t.
结论：1.由例句①和②可知，含有was /were的一般过去时句子，变否定句时是在was /were的后面加not;变一般疑问句时是把was /were提前至______,其肯定回答为：Yes,主语+was /were；否定回答为：No, 主语+wasn’t/weren’t.
2. 由例句①③和④可知，含有实义动词的一般过去时句子，变否定句时要借助助动词didn’t,同时谓语动词要用原形;变一般疑问句时要借助助动词______并提前至______,谓语动词用原形。其肯定回答为：Yes,主语+did；否定回答为：No, 主语+didn’t.

anyone 相当于anybody一般用于否定句和疑问句中。肯定句中用somebody或someone它是不定代词，当形容词修饰不定代词时，要放在不定代词之后并且作主语时是单数,另外指人的不定代词还有nobody no one everybody everyone someone somebody等

Everything was very expensive. 所有的东西都很贵。
expensive 形容词，“昂贵的”，其反义词是cheap “便宜的”
Eg. This is an expensive hat. 这是一顶价钱昂贵的帽子。
Food is cheap in that market. 那个市场上的食品便宜。
【注意】expensive 和cheap 只能形容食物的贵贱，主语必须是物品本身，不能是价格；当主语是价格（price）时， 表示价格高低要用high/low.
The shirt is expensive.
=The price of the shirt is high. 这件衬衫很贵。
3. My legs were so tired that I wanted to stop. 我的腿太累了，我想停下来。
so…that…如此……以至于 ,该结构引导结果状语从句。so 是副词，与形容词或副词连用，其结构是：so+形容词/副词+that 从句。
Eg. He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him. 他跑得如此快，我都追不上他了。
I am so sleepy that I couldn’t keep my eyes open . 我太困了，都睁不开眼了

decide动词,“决定；选定”。后接动词不定式，即decide to do sth.“决定做某事”，decide not to do sth.“决定不做某事”。decide也可接含有特殊疑问词的不定式，即“decide+特殊疑问词+to do”。
Eg. I decide to go to Wang Fei’s concert(音乐会) on Sunday night.

2. I feel like I was a bird.
feel like 意为“给……的感觉；感受到”，后接名词，也可接句子。feel like相当于feel as if /though。
Eg. They made me feel like one of the family.

exciting与excited的用法：
exciting形容词，意为“令人兴奋的；使人激动的”，一般用于修饰物，指事物本身让人兴奋、激动。excited形容词,意为“感到兴奋的”，通常用来修饰人。
Eg. He told us an exciting story yesterday.
The excited children forgot to say goodbye to the teacher.
4.I wonder what life was like here in the past.
wonder动词，意为“想知道；琢磨”，后接从句 （要用陈述语序）或“疑
问词+不定式”。wonder 的形容词形式为wonderful,意为“极好的；精彩的”。

because of 与 because的用法：
两者都表示原因，意为“因为”。because of 是介词短语，后接名词、代词、动名词或其他名词性短语，在句中做原因状语。而because 是连词，后面一般接从句，引导原因状语从句，且不能和so 同时出现。
Eg. The boy didn’t go to school because of his illness.
=The boy didn’t go to school because he was ill.
6. My father didn’t bring enough money.
enough 形容词，意为“足够的；充足的；充分的”，修饰可数名词或不可数名词时，既可放在被修饰词的前面，也可放在被修饰词的后面。
