I. Teaching Aims
能够运用打电话、邀请、建议等基本表达法进行交流；知道英语中打电话、邀请和提建议的表达；初步学习字母组合air/are, augh/aw, a+ble/nge的读音规则，并能根据音标拼读和拼写单词。

(2)Sentences: ①---Hello! ---Hello, Jane! This is Kangkang.
②---Are you free this Sunday ---Yes. What’s up

VI. Teaching procedures
1. Warming up
Greeting and review.
2. Learn new words and function sentences; Section A-1a, 1b, 1c, 2, 3, 4a, 4b
(1)New words and function sentences: Firstly, present some pictures about having a picnic and one picture of the West Hill and teach some new words and function sentences.
Secondly, set up a situation about calling sb. and teach Ss how to call sb. Lastly, finish the numbers in 2a.
(2) Section A-1a, 1b, 1c, 2, 3, 4a, 4b
①1a: Firstly, ask students tape recorder of 1a two times, then let students to guess what they are talking.
Secondly, learn the conversations together.
Thirdly, read it together.
②1b: Listen to 1a again and finish 1b then check the answers.
③1c: Ask students to complete the conversation and check it.
④2: Listen and match and check it.
⑤4a: Listen and read the sounds and words aloud.
⑥4b: Circle the letters with different sounds in each pair. Then listen and repeat.
3. Homework
(1) Remember the new words and sentence patterns.
(2) Finish the homework in their exercise book.
(3) Finish 3 in P90 in their books.
