1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本节课是一堂阅读课。根据《英语课程标准》中规定的九年级学生应达到的五级目标要求,遵循新课程理念,以及九年级学生的特点,本课的教学步骤设计如下:“复习旧知识(通过讨论和问答的形式)→教学新词汇(通过图片教学和头脑风暴的方法)→导入阅读文章(通过观看FLASH影片并回答一个简单的问题)→阅读训练 (通过判断正误,阅读并回答问题,表格式任务型阅读以及短文填空等方式)→能力拓展(通过问题的讨论引出与所学内容相关的写作任务)”。 本课教学主要采用任务型教学手段,贯穿整体语言教学,重在培养学生的自主学习能力。整堂阅读课打破了传统英语阅读课教学中以词汇和句子为中心的外语教学方法,把一个语篇看作一个整体,而词汇、句子、段落只是其中的组成部分。因此在这样一堂阅读课当中,教师绝对不是把一篇文章从头至尾逐句解释,机械地讲解每一个词汇、语法知识,而是指导学生从整体入手,从背景知识,文章的大意入手,进而深入阅读理解这篇文章,最终掌握里面的知识点,并运用于语言交际的实践中。 按新课标倡导的“用英语教英语”,课堂上教师尽量用英语教学,努力创设英语课堂环境,让学生充分感知、积极体验,并能大胆开口说英语。 遵循“教为主导、学为主体、练为主线”的教育理念,面向全体学生,尊重学生的个体差异,设立不同层次的阅读任务用来检测学生在课堂上每一个环节的阅读效果,整节课通过男女生竟赛抢答的形式,活跃了阅读课的课堂气氛,培养学生的参与意识和团队精神。 借助多媒体辅助教学,增大课堂容量,并创设真实的教学情境,使课堂内容更加生动、形象。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析: 仁爱英语九年级下册Unit6 Topic3 Section C Graduation Ceremony 是本册最后一个话题的阅读课文,他承接了初中三年以来有关学校生活的话题,同时介绍了毕业典礼,内容贴近学生的学习生活实际,学生较有兴趣阅读。 二、学生情况分析: 九年级学生经过三年学习积累了一定的语言基础,有一定的语言能力,对于毕业时的情景有着许多想像,同时对于毕业后的话题兴趣较浓厚,探知欲较强。因此本课里我就充分利用了这一因素,加强引导,合理设置阅读任务,并通过抢抢答营造活跃的课堂氛围。 在课堂表现方面,有部分学生还不能积极参与,害羞、不敢大胆地变现自己。因此,本课设计了多种活动,力争做到调动学生的积极性,促进学生的竞争意识与互助协作的精神。
3.教学目标分析
知识目标(Knowledge aims): 学习并掌握有关毕业典礼的单词: document, diploma, congratulate, period, possibility, 学习并掌握课文中所学词组graduate from,give speeches,come to an end, leave…behind等的用法。 能力目标(Ability aims): 1. Reading Ability:Cultivate the students’ reading ability and try to improve the students’ reading skills in different ways. Students are able to read the sentences about graduation ceremony and the feelings about farewell aloud correctly. (通过多种教学手段来培养学生的阅读能力,提高阅读技巧,并能正确地用英语朗读有关毕业典礼的课文和有关分别时感受的句子。) 2. Listening Ability: Students are able to listen and understand 3.some useful expressions about graduation ceremony and the feelings about farewell.(能听懂有关毕业典礼和分别时感受的相关英语句子) 4.Speaking Ability: Students are able to use the vocabulary learnt in this topic properly to describe the graduation ceremony and the feelings about farewell . (能正确地运用所学词汇用英语描述毕业典礼的相关内容和毕业分别时的感受。) 5. Writing Ability: Students are able to use the vocabulary learnt in this topic to write a passage about graduation after answering some related questions. (能通过回答相关问题,明确要点,用英语完成有关graduation的书面表达。) 情感目标(Emotion aims): 通过对毕业后学习生活计划的讨论以及对老师和同学们可能说的感谢之词等的讨论,对学生进行理想教育和感恩教育。 2、通过课堂中的各种活动来培养学生的协助精神,增强团体凝聚力,激发学生的求知欲与参与意识,并达到提高学生学习英语兴趣的目的。
4.教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:学习和掌握本课重点词汇和句型,并通过略读、寻读、研读等层层深入的阅读 让学生掌握阅读技能。 教学难点:计划和讨论毕业后的学习生活,运用本课所学词汇和句型完成有关graduation的书面表达。
5.教学过程设计
Pre-reading Task1:Discussion What will you do before leaving school 【设计意图:通过对学生毕业前要做的事情的讨论,复习Section A学过的内容,同时激活学生的认知图式,通过话题导入牵引,有意识地引出该课的目标词汇与重要词汇,有效地培养了学生“说”的能力。】 Task2:Report. Ask the students to report like this: I’ll/ I’m going to … ,using the phrases below: take photos with one another write best wishes to each other prepare gifts for teachers and classmates prepare speeches have a class get-together make plans for the future exchange photos with each other see friends off 【设计意图: 呈现本课的目标词汇。通过让学生运用所学句型造句的方式,熟悉本课相关重要词组和句型,引入本课阅读话题,为之后的课文阅读和写作做好词汇铺垫。】 Task3: Learn the new words 1.利用多媒体幻灯片教学有关graduation ceremony的词汇,以句子方式呈现。 We’ll graduate from our school in July! Will you come and join our graduation ceremony The graduation ceremony is very important for us. The principal will give us a speech. Each graduate will receive a document called a diploma at the graduation ceremony. 【设计意图:结合多媒体手段,让学生通过感知,学习并掌握生词,有助于理解与记忆。通过图片搭配句子的方式来让学生在真实的语境中强化记忆单词,为阅读扫除词汇障碍。同时在这个任务中穿插了一个小任务,让学生结合上下文猜测生词diploma的意思,从而达到对学生中考题型中阅读猜词能力的训练的目的。】 2.Brain Storm头脑风暴:Ask the students to say out the words and phrases again. 【设计意图:男女生竞赛,通过头脑风暴,迅速记忆单词,为之后的阅读打下词汇基础。】 3.Talk about the picture: Show a picture of the graduation ceremony, ask the students to talk about the picture. 6.教学评价设计:男女生竞赛,黑板右上方用简笔画和小红旗方式体现出整个阅读过程中男生组和女生组得分的变化,完成阅读任务后计总分。下课后,要求竞赛输的一方表演节目给获胜方看。
7.本节课采用任务型教学手段,贯穿整体语言教学,设置由浅入深,层层深入的阅读任务,在短短四十五分钟的课堂教学中,有效培养了学生的阅读能力。同时,通过最后一个环节的写作训练,使学生的综合语言运用能力得到提升。整堂课采用竞赛抢答等竞争机制,改变了以往阅读课沉闷的课堂气氛。更重要的是,本人在阅读教学中,从词汇教学目标出发,把握词汇教学时机,采用词汇教学策略,主要体现在读前感知(词汇),读中领悟(词汇),读后运用(词汇)。充分体现词汇教学与阅读教学相辅相成,从而使学生正确理解和掌握词汇的意义和用法,有效培养了学生的阅读技能,提高了学生的阅读能力。
