I. Teaching aims and learning objectives
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. use the conjunctions “and”, “but” , “or” and “so” to join ideas together.
2. use “both … and”, “not only … but also”, “either … or” and “neither … nor” to connect the same part of the two sentences.

Here are the rules: You are divided into 4 groups. Try to make sentences with and, but, or and so. If the first student in Group1 makes a sentence correctly, then he’ll have the chance to ask the first one in Group 2 to make a sentence with any word of the four … If you can’t make a sentence in 5 seconds, your group will lose the game.
