教学重点:1. Learn how to write your problems and how to express feelings.2. Learn how to ask for advice.
教学难点:Students learn how to collect,analyze,compare and achieve useful information by comparative reading .

教学过程:Warming –up1. Enjoy a song “I am busy.”2. Introduce myself.Step 1. Pre-reading Activity 1. Watching and saying What is the video about Teenage problems.( 引出本课主题 ,板书 )Tell Ss there will be a PK between the boys and girls in this class. Tell them the rules.Activity 2. Remembering and quick answeringWhat problems do these students have in the video (Show some pictures to help Ss to remember and say) too much homeworkstay up lateget up earlylow marks in exams strict parentsnot enough time for hobbies…(Encourage students to talk about the pictures, and I have made a list of phrases on the Bb.)【设计意图:让学生初步了解本课内容,使其进入良好的学习状态,为学习新知识做好准备。】Activity 3. Collecting information (Silent reading)Boys collect information about Simon, and girls collect information about Millie by reading the passages. If they find it, underline it.Ask girls to read out the information about Millie which she has found one by one.Ask boys to read out the information about Simon which he has found one by one.If necessary, I write the new words on the Bb, and teach Ss the words.【此环节在教学过程中,注意指导学生正确发音,提醒学生朗读时要注意语音、语调。】 Task 2. Ask students to read the sentences aloud first, then ask two students to read it with emotion.I have a lot of homework every day, and I have no choice but to do it. I often have to stay up late. Then I sometimes find it hard to stay awake the next day.I know it is important to finish all my homework on time. However, I hardly have any spare time for my hobbies like volleyball and music. I cannot imagine my life without hobbies. I often doubt whether it is worth spending so much time on homework.I always play football with my friends after school. We often play for hours and never worry about the time. Sometimes we forget when we should stop. Then I get into trouble because my parents do not allow me to play outside after 6 p.m. I do not understand why they are so strict with me. I feel angry sometimes. I believe it is important to develop our hobbies. They help us relax and make our lives more interesting.3.
