如何在学习音标之后持续地巩固所学成果，建议：
i）在学习新单词的时候，把读音规则与单词的发音联系起来；
ii）学完对话（如2d）后，要就对话内容进行语音、语调的训练；
iii）结合课后附录中的“pronunciation”进行有计划地、有针对性的语音训练，内容包括读音规则、重音、停顿、连读、失去爆破、语调等；
iv）帮助学生养成利用读音规则记忆单词拼写的技能和习惯。

在前面几课时的音标学习之后，学生对音标的概念已经具备了一定的认读和拼读技能。在正式进入单元教学之后，老师们往往容易犯的一个错误就是把音标扔在一边，在以后的课堂上不再进行可持续的练习与巩固， 因此学生也就很快地遗忘。
