2学情分析
本节课中涉及的新句子是对三年级What's this/that 的拓展,又有15课前期铺垫,所以对学生来说是重点,但不是难点。本节课的主要任务就是对已学句式的拓展学习和新单词在句子中的运用。

活动1【导入】Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Divide the students into four groups.(the monkey can eat the bananas when one of the group reach the finish line first)
3. Sing the fruit song.
活动2【讲授】Presentation
1. Revise the words and sentences in this unit, and learn :What’s that in English .
T: Look, I have some pictures about fruit. Can you tell me : What are these in English
Ss: Sure./Yes.
T: What’s this in English
Ss: It’s a pear.
T: What’s this in English
Ss: It’s a banana.
T: What’s this in English
Ss:It’s a watermelon.
T: What’s this in English
Ss:It’s an orange. Emphasize the usage of a and an.
Show the picture of a tomato.
T: What’s that in English
Ss: It’s a tomato.
T: Who finds the difference I asked this time

T:Summarize and write on the blackboard: What’s this /that in English

Ss: It’s a tomato.
T: Can you spell tomato
Ss:T-O-M-A-T-O.
T:(Write tomato on the blackboard.) Now you write tomato three times on your exercise books.
3.Teach “cucumber”.
T: Now, let’s play a guessing game.

T: Look! Please read the riddle together.

T: I like cucumbers very much. (Eat a piece). It’s juicy and crisp. Yummy! Ask and answer and share the cucumber like the following:

4. T:Look, Li Yan and Kate go to the supermarket and buy some vegetables. In Kate’s hand ,there is a cucumber. And what’s that in Li Yan’s hand
Ss:胡萝卜。
T: Yes. But what’s that in English Let’s listen to the tape.

Ss: It’s a carrot.

T: Open your English books, and read after the tape and me.
Emphasize the pronunciation of carrots, and write “Do you like carrots/tomatoes/ cucumbers ---- Yes,I do./No, I don’t.” on the blackboard.
5. Make a chant and say.

1. Mission1: Pass the parcel
Pass the orange along with the clapping toy. When I stop, the students with the orange ask the desk-mates around them.
2. Mission2: Guessing Game
Students come to the stage one by one, cover eyes and touch one of the vegetable or fruit,then guess and speak what that in English correctly.The other people ask “Do you like...... ”, then the student answer.
Mission3:Go shopping
根据本课对话根据PPT出示食材进行创编对话
Now, I will give you a mission. Mission three: Go shopping. Our mum want to cook dinner for us. So we need to buy things they need in the supermarket. Try to use the sentences I give you to make up a new dialogue.
Last,the winning group help the monkey eat the bananas.

活动7【活动】课后反思
本课是精通英语四年级上册第三单元Lesson16,本节课的教学目标是学习:1.新句子和新单词What’s that in English It’s a carrot/carrot. 2.写四会单词tomato. 3. Do you like carrots/cucumbers/tomatoes Yes, I do./No, I don’t.4.教育学生不挑食偏食。现在对本节课进行思:
精讲多练:对新单词句式采用学生体会不同,猜谜语和听录音等形式进行授新,并通过跟读、编唱歌谣,“击鼓传花”、编对话等形式进行练习。基本做到了精讲多练。
师生互动:在教学过程中,我采用了问答,品尝cucumber、小练笔等师生互动,击鼓传花、歌谣、编对话等形式的生生互动。
媒体运用:使用了多媒体课件、录音机能够很好的配合教学。
目标达成:学生在本节课中,对新的单词、句式能够进行口头运用,tomato的书写都能写会,但大部分学生在like后加可数名词复数这一点没有注意,应该在讲课过程加以提醒。整体看,基本能够达成教学目标。
