频率副词always(总是), usually(通常), often(经常), sometimes(有时候), 还有hardly ever(几乎不), never(从不),谈论习惯性、经常性的动作或状态，常常与一般现在时连用。
例如：他总是上课迟到。He always arrives late for class.
她通常晚上做家庭作业。She usually does her homework at night.
他们几乎不看电视。 They hardly ever watch TV.

探究一：频度副词与一般现在时的用法
1.频度副词的概念及构成
在一般现在时态的句子中，常出现usually，often，sometimes，never等表示频率的副词。这些频度副词表示某一动作或状态出现的频率，即在一定时间内某一动作或状态重复出现的次数这些词在英语中被称为频度副词。一般来说可按频率大小排列为：always（总是100%）>usually（通常≥ 80%）>often（常常；经常≥ 60%）>sometimes（有时≥ 20%）>hardly ever（几乎从不＜ 5%）>never（从不0%）等。
always“总是”，表示动作的重复或状态 的延续。
usually“通常”，表示很少有例外。
often“经常”，表示动作的重复，但不如 usually频繁，中间有间断。
sometimes“有时”，表示动作偶尔发生。
hardly over “几乎不”，常和ever连用表示强调。
never“从未”。
We often play basketball after school.
He is never late for class.

2.频度副词的位置
频度副词放在系动词be、助动词或情态动词之后，行为动词之前。
eg：He is always asking for money.他总是要钱。
We often have lunch at school.我们经常在学校吃午饭。
They hardly ever make dinner.
I can never forget the day!
有些频度副词可放在句首或句尾，用来表示强调。
eg：Sometimes I walk home，and sometimes I go home by bus.
我有时步行回家，有时乘公共汽车回家。
Sometimes, Lily is late for class.
never 位于句首，句子要倒装。eg：Never have I learnt this word.
我从未学过这个单词。

1. 肯定句中不同人称对应的动词变化(肯定句中不用助动词do或does)
当主语是第三人称单数时：
主语+动词第三人称单数形式+其他.
She always does his homework after dinner.(此处does为实义动词，“做”)
He often plays basketball in the afternoon.(此处plays为动词三单形式，加s)
当主语不是第三人称单数时：
主语+动词原形+其他.
I always go to the movies on Sunday evening.
They usually do some reading in the morning.
(此处do为实义动词)
2. 否定句中不同人称对应的动词变化(否定句用到助动词do或does)
当主语是第三人称单数时：
主语+助动词does + not+动词原形+其他.
She does not do his homework after dinner.(此处does助动词，构成否定句)
He does not play basketball in the afternoon.(此处play为动词原形)

探究三：How often 问句与一般现在时的用法和答语
How often + 助动词 do (does ) + 主语 + do sth. 疑问词 how often 是问频率 (多久一次),（这里助动词 do (does) 是起帮助构成疑问的作用）多与一般现在时连用,有时也和一般过去时连用。回答一般是用表示频率的副词。
答语有四种情况：
(1)频度副词 alway， usually，often，sometimes，hardly ever，never
(2)every+名词单数everymorning/afternoon/evening/day/Sunday/weekend/ week/month/term/year/…
(3)次数+一段时间 once a week/month/year twice a week /month/year three times a week/month/year four times a week/month/year
(4)once every four years 每四年一次 seven times every two minutes

探究四：how often与how long/far/soon的用法区别
How often “多久一次”，用来对表示频率的副词或短语提问。
How long 询问时间时，表示“多长时间”，回答用“for+时间段”或“since+时间点”；还可询问长度。
How soon “多久以后”，回答通常用“in+时间段”。
How far 表示距离的远近。
（多用于一般现在时）
（多用于一般将来时）
how often 多久一次，用来询问在某一段时间内进行某个动作的次数。how many times 多少次，它不问动作发生的频率，只询问次数，即“多少次”。
其答语为once，twice，three times等。
eg：—How many times have you been to Beijing？
你去过北京几次？
—Only twice.仅两次。
—How often do you go to Beijing？ 你多久去一次北京？
—Twice a month.每个月两次。

位置，通常位于句首，相当于perhaps。maybe是副词，在句子做状语。
may be modal v.，情态动词may 与动词原形be 一起构成句子的谓
