Module 1 Unit1的教学设计
一．教学整体思路与指导策略
本模块是新学期的起始模块，因此无论是教学内容还是语法功能上都起到了承上启下的作用。根据新教材“题材-功能-结构-任务”的编写原则分析本模块的具体内容，其题材是围绕世界奇观展开，功能是要求学生学会描述地点和经历，而语法结构则是复习已经学过的六种基本时态，任务是做一个关于世界奇迹的海报。这里根据自己对教材的理解，结合新课标的具体要求，确定模块的整体教学目标。我在设计教学内容时，突出新课改理念，创设大量教学情境，优化教学过程，给学生提供一种自然的情景学外语。使学生随着活动的完成而掌握巩固知识点，同时也获得成就感，激发学生参与、探索与创新。
二．教学目标
知识目标：
1. 词汇 man-made, natural, wonder, discussion, eastern, though, loud, opinion, electricity.
2. 复习六大时态。
能力目标：能够简单地向别人介绍、描述某一世界奇观。
情感目标：通过学习，掌握如何介绍、描述某一世界奇观，从而使学生更加热爱自然风光。
三．教学重点、难点
重点：
1. 领会并灵活使用下列词汇man-made, natural wonder , though, loud, opinion
2. 掌握重点句型：
*That sounds great, though I think Victoria Falls in Africa are even more fantastic.
*基数词+量词+long/wide/high…….
*It produces electricity for millions of people in China.
3.理解并掌握六大时态的定义、结构及用法。
难点：能通过相关词汇或图片描述描述某一世界奇观
四．教学方法：PWP method, task-based method
1.恰当运用多媒体辅助教学，提供课堂效率增加趣味性。
2. “一三导学，少教多学”的教学模式。

合作探究展示 People learn they teach.（教学相长。）Step1导入新课：看图片，认识并了解世界奇观，完成Activity1和Activity2中的问题。Step2听力训练：.结合听力仔细观察图片，借助Activity2所提供的答案引导学生更好地了解课文内容。Step 3 对话处理： Read the text and answer the questions . (Activity4)Step 4 听后说1.Work in groups: 组内分角色朗读对话(3人一组)，然后小组互相PK。2. 找出重要的短语并记忆（Bb:课前写，课上展）Step5释难解惑：Read the dialogue, find out the difficulties and focus, then discuss with groups and solve the difficulties.(小组自主互助学习，不能解决的问题，教师适时点拨）Step 6 知识点拨1. Which two are natural wonders 哪两个是自然奇观？1）natural 形容词，意为“大自然的”。其名词形式为nature，意为“大自然，自然界”。2）wonder 在此为可数名词，意为“奇观，奇迹”，还可作动词，意为“想知道，对......感到好奇”，形容词形式为wonderful, 意为“极好的，精彩的”2. Let’s call Wonders of the world and join in the discussion. 咱们给《世界奇观》节目打电话，加入讨论吧。join in 多指参加小规模的活动，如球赛，游戏，讨论等，join 指加入党派，组织或社会团体，并成为其中的一员；take part in 指参加群众性活动、会议、劳动等。3. be sure +that 从句，表示“确信......” be sure of...... “对....有把握”， “肯定......”4. That sounds great ,though I think...1)sound 用作连系动词，意为“听起来”，其后跟形容词或名词作表语。sound like …听起来像…2)though 连词,虽然;尽管，可与although互换，不能与but连用，构成让步状语从句。5. millions of ...成千上万的... 当hundred, thousand和million 等词与具体的数字连用表示确切数目时要用单数形式，但当它们指的是不确切的数目时，必须用复数形式，且后面接介词of，意为“数以.....计的”6. be interested in 对......感兴趣 ,区别interested与interesting
