Module 4 Home alone
Unit 2 I became so bored with their orders that I wished they would leave me alone.
【教学目标】
1. Key vocabulary:

Key structures:

【教学过程】
Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warming up
Look at the pictures and talk about daily things you do alone and the things your parents do for you.
Questions:
Who does the shopping in your house
You or your parents
Who makes your bed

Step 2 Presentation
Look and say. The teacher shows the pictures of new words or expressions and let the students to say as quickly as possible.
Step 3 Reading

1. Read the passage and choose the best summary.

Step 4 Language points

manage作动词,意为“设法完成(困难的事)”,其用法有:
(1) manage后可接名词或代词。如:

2. Turn off the TV!
关掉电视。
turn off 意为“关掉; 关闭(设备)”, 主要指关灯、电视、电脑、自来水、煤气等。
turn off 可与名词和代词连用: 与名词连用时, 名词可放在turn off 之后, 也可放在turn 和off 之间; 与代词连用时, 代词只能放在turn和off 之间。如:
Jenny turned the computer off / turned off the computer.

Step 5 Writing
1. Read the passage in Activity 2 again and make lists of what Zheng Chenyu does when his parents are away.
Example:
