Teaching steps(教学步骤)
1. 复习(Review)
教师运用教室中的实物询问,Where’s the… 复习Unit 4 中的内容。实物的运用,直观形象,也使对话贴近生活。
2. Presentation(呈现新知识)
出示踢足球的幻灯片,引出新单元主题:
T:What’s this in English
Ss:It’s a ball.
T:What ball is it
S1:It’s a soccer ball.
出示basketball的图片,呈现新单词:
T:What’s this in English
Ss:It’s a basketball,书写并拼读basketball.
以同样的方法教学soccer, ball, volleyball, tennis, tennis racket, bat, ping-pong, 朗读单词并记忆图片,可采用集体读,小组或个别读的形式。用实物或图片使呈现直观、易懂。
3. Work on 1a
Match the words with the things in the picture. 学生通过读、听、说,并动手做了配对题,对新词的记忆进一步加深。
4. Drill
出示一张篮球的图片。
T:This is my basketball. I have a basketball.
学生跟读,并出示图片(足球、排球、网球等)运用句型:This is my…, I have…进行操练。
出示图片(一只书包)
T:This is my schoolbag. I have a schoolbag. Do you have a schoolbag
Ss:Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
出示其他图片(乒乓球拍、椅子、钟等),运用句型Do you have a /an …?Yes, I do. / No, I don’t进行两人小组的操练。引导学生转入对自己身边物品的提问。
S1:Do you have a pencil
S2:Yes, I do.
从易到难的图片到身边的真实物品,使对话的操练变得很自然,与生活相融合。

出示图片(篮球与笑脸),让学生思考教师要说的句子:I have a basketball.
出示图片(书包与笑脸),说出句子:I don’t have a schoolbag.
出示类似的图片,以笑脸表示“有”,以哭脸表示“无”的形式,练习说句子。
7. Work on 1c
Practice the conversation with your partner. 此活动让学生动笔、动口、动脑多种器官运用于语言学习中,使课堂不枯燥。

Listen to the conversation and number the pictures[1-4]
9. Work on 2b
Listen again. Match the pictures in 2a with the balls.
10. Homework
