学情分析 九年级的学生已经有了一定的认知能力和生活经历，他们喜欢旅游，善于探索，渴望了解、体验这个神奇世界。Module 1 Wonders of the world中Unit 2来自一篇游记，介绍世界奇观美国科罗拉多大峡谷，学生会非常感兴趣。但是我们班上的学生从未出过国，对国外的地理人文知识知之甚少因此对于国外的wonders多以视频的直观方式引入。

Step 3 Fast reading Let the students read the title to find what does the author think about the Grand Canyon.Let the students skimming the passage and find where does this passage may come from. Do fast reading and find the answears.(and find the clues) 以直接的观感进入本篇文章的主题（因为学生全都没有相关背景知识，因此视频是最直接的方式），观看之后谈谈看法，也相当于预测本课文的相关内容，让其思想与作者形成鸿沟，增加阅读的兴趣
Step4 detailed reading Let the students read the paragraph 1&2 and find the detailed answears.Read paragraphy 1 again and find “why there was nothing to see”Let the students read para3 and find “which direaction does the writer faced ” and then enjoy the beauiful sentences about the natural beauty.Let the students read paragraphy 4 and find the facts about the Grand CanyonLet the students read paragraphy 5 and answear” why does this author write this passage ” Read and think carefully and answear the questions 详细阅读整篇文章，本文章虽然是游记，但又不只是游记（正像标题所展示的一样more than），它更是一片广告；而此广告的魅力在于，不是在字面上展示Grand Canyon的美，而是在字里行间里面展示它的美。而孩子们的阅读，对于文章后面的几个问题，都属于高阶思维，所以有必要引导孩子们将文章一步步读懂，读细。

Step 6 pre-writting Show two vidios of other 2 wonders to the studentsHelp the students to analysis what they will write about Watch the vidosThink about what to write 用另外的两处自然wonders让学生观看，并写相关文章。设计两个话题的原因是根据学生水平的不同，学生可以自由选择不同话题长城是他们熟悉的内容，但也很少孩子们去过，贝加尔湖更是一个孩子都没去过，如果游记落脚到他们去过的地方，一方面他们写相关内容文章的机会已经很多，另外一方面与本单元的主题wonders in the world相违背写之前与学生们一起讨论，为他们搭好脚手架
反思 1.本次使用的学生是人教版教材学生，对学生的生单词估计不准确2.本次上课因准备不够充分，老师的课堂用语不简练3.老师课堂话语偏多，要多把时间留给学生4. 虽然学生最后呈交上来的作文大多还不错，如果能够两节课一起准备完整的读写课，并能把学生写作进行结构和优美语言的分析，与本篇文章的相关性的分析会更好。
