Module3 Unit1 What are they doing
一、教学目标
(一)语言知识:
1. 听、说、读、写单词kid, can, see, interesting, people, boat, men, between, drink, clock, hungry;
2.听、说、认读单词和短语get on, lots of, thing, row, dragon boat, chess, play chess,soya milk, me too。
3.听、说、读、写并运用句型“what are they doing They are doing...”进行问答。
(二)思维能力目标
2. 能够朗读课文表演故事。
(三)学习能力
1.能够运用所学语言(be+V.-ing)描述图片,能够说明正在发生的事情。
2.能够在随机见到的场景中描述出人们正在做的事情。
(四)文化品格
1.培养乐于感知并积极使用英语的习惯;
2.认识中西文化的不同。
3.认识阅读的重要性,养成乐于读书的好习惯。
二、教学重难点
重点
1. 听、说、读、写单词kid, can, see, interesting, people, boat, men, between, drink, clock, hungry。
2. 运用句型“What are they doing They are doing……”进行问答。
3. 能够正确使用现在进行时态的结构(be+V.-ing)描述图片和正在发生的事情。
难点
1. interesting, people, between, soya milk发音较难。
2. 正确掌握并运用现在进行时态的基本结构(be+V.-ing)描述图片和正在发生的事情。

四、教学过程
Step 1: Warming up
1.Chant together
2.Play a guessing game of the picture from Activity 1.
Question : What are they doing
According to the answers of the students to start to watch the cartoon of Activity 1.
【设计意图】
用看图对话的形式导入文本情景,既让学生敢于张口说英语敢于表达,又发展了学生的思维。
Step2:Lead in
1.Watch and answer. T:Daming be Amy’s little guide .
Q:Where are they
Ss:Maybe they are in the zoo.
T:They are on the bus.
【设计意图】
通过活动一的情景,看图片描述和回答问题,自然导入活动二;通过读图引领学生进入课文故事情景,激发学生兴趣,为文本学习做好铺垫。
Step 3: Presentation
1.Watch the video for the first time and sort the pictures in the time order and answer questions.

Question 2: Where are the people
2.Learn the new word with pictures in PPT
3.Look and say,then learn

以此类推,在情境中教读新词。

【设计意图】利用回答问题的形式学习活动二,用图片突破单词,用游戏突破重点句子和句型,用角色扮演体验故事情景,用创设情景创编歌曲引领学生积极参与各项活动,发展学生能力,提升学生素养。

8.Make a dialogue with sentences learnt in this class.((创编对话)

【设计意图】通过文化对比,让学生了解中西文化的差别,既能让学生了解西方文化,又能培养学生的爱国情结,同时达到育人的目的。
Step5: Homework
1.read the text follow the tape
2.draw a picture about your family's life and share it with your classmates next class.
【设计意图】
设计成作业超市的形式,学生可根据自己的兴趣爱好自主选择,既面向全体学生,又发展了个体差异,凸显学生个性特征。
